QHA Trent independently surveys and accredits healthcare provider services such as hospitals, polyclinics, spas and others.

It accomplishes this through the use of written evidence-based standards, against which such organisations are surveyed.



It is also able to offer assistance to healthcare care provider organisations that are preparing for accreditation or re-accreditation.

 

Accreditation and re-accreditation usually takes place on a 2-yearly basis. 

 

However, where a healthcare provider is offering truly exceptional services to patients, the period of time between re-accreditations can be extended by QHA Trent to 3 years.
